FINAL RULE |
|
A portion of this Final Rule (HM-215G) changed the
marking requirements for Overpacks in 173.25(a)(4).
The change stated that the OVERPACK mark must be
used on specification packagings, unless the
specification markings on the inside packages are
visible. As an alternative, it allowed overpacks to
be marked with a statement saying that the “inside
(inner) packages comply with prescribed
specifications” until Oct. 1, 2007.
