Where is the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule in Effect?

“On November 28, 2016, EPA issued a rule that finalizes a much-needed update to the hazardous waste generator regulations to make the rules easier to understand, facilitate better compliance, provide greater flexibility in how hazardous waste is managed and close important gaps in the regulations. This map shows the states where the Generator Improvements final rule is in effect.”(EPA)

CHANGES AND UPDATES ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE 2018/2019 HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, SUBSTANCES & WASTES COMPLIANCE GUIDE

Links to Hazardous Waste Programs and U.S. State Environmental Agencies

“State regulatory requirements for generators may be more stringent than the federal program. To help current and potential hazardous waste generators follow the regulations in their state, both a map and an alphabetically linked list of states and U.S. territories' websites are given below. Wherever possible links to the pages related to solid and hazardous waste are provided. All of these links are outside of EPA's website and EPA is not responsible for the content of these websites.”
